Mark your calendars! From Thursday 6th to Saturday 8th June, the Lewes Music Festival returns to Lewes, East Sussex, promising three days of unforgettable music, community, camping, and sport. Whether you’re a local or travelling in from elsewhere in the South East or beyond, this is your summer weekend destination.
Why Lewes Is the Perfect Festival Town
Lewes is a historic, picturesque town in East Sussex, nestled at the foot of the South Downs. With easy access from Brighton, Lewes serves as the perfect festival hub. The festival is located at the Lewes Rugby Club (Stanley Turner Ground, Kingston Road, Lewes BN7) — a familiar, accessible venue that’s right in the heart of the community.

Incredible Music Across Three Days
We’re curating a lineup that appeals to all ages and tastes:

We’re finalising the 2025/2026 lineup all the time, so stay tuned. But rest assured: the musical standard will be high, and there will always be something for everyone — solo artists, bands, and fun crowd-pleasers.

You won’t feel like you’re sacrificing fun just to keep it kid-appropriate — the music, ambiance, and extra entertainment are all part of the experience.
Camping, VIP Camping & Glamping Options
To fully immerse yourself in the festival spirit, we provide:
- General camping fields — pitch your tent, relax, and enjoy the vibe
- VIP camping / glamping area — more comfort, extra services (e.g. better access, improved facilities)
- Onsite facilities (toilets, showers, potable water) in both zones to keep you comfortable
Camping means you don’t need to worry about commuting each day — you can wake up right at the festival grounds and stay close to the action.
We are curating numerous bars across the site — standard bars, cocktail bars, craft beer stalls, and more — so you’ll always have refreshment options at hand.
In addition, dozens of food stalls and street food traders will serve a wide variety of cuisine: from festival favorites (burgers, pizzas, wraps) to more adventurous and local flavours. You’ll be able to snack, dine, and graze all weekend long.
Rugby 7s Tournament
One of our standout features is the Rugby 7s tournament, hosted alongside the music festival. Expect fast, thrilling matches, team spirit, and community engagement. Whether you come to play, support, or spectate, the rugby element brings an exciting sporting dimension to what’s already a full weekend.
