Energetic, engaging and enthralling. This creative and lively 4 piece band of ‘youngsters’ perform their original material tackling current social issues with upbeat, toe tapping and hip shaking grooves. Wonderfully lyrical, Hurly Burly will inspire.
Wide influences from the 60’s, early 80’s and 90’s they also interpret well known covers throughout their sets.

Hurly Burly are a lively original acoustic/percussive group, with a hint of punk and a twist of folk. An energetic 4 piece band, toe-tapping, hand clapping, thigh-slapping rhythms and ‘earworm’ melodies.
An eclectic set of entertaining and engaging songs with innovative lyrics challenging a broad range of issues from mental health to relationships, climate change to trolling and everything in between. All wrapped up in a big bundle of energy for an evening of fun, dance and lively live music.
Formed at the end of 2021, and reformed after relocation to the current lineup in 2024. Headlined The Guildford Beer Festival in ’22, and appeared at the Brighton Fringe in ’24. Hurly Burly are:
